- Making minimum three recordings of your own composition that will bee available to
purchase on the Internet (CDBaby)..
- Making CD:s with graphics illustrations and information printed on the CD.
- Producing minimum 3 productions/recordings of high quality that faithfully represents the
compositions.
The compositions can be of any musical form and esthetic content as long as it represent what you think is your music. It can be synthesized or acoustic sounds (instruments) or any combinations of these.
What music are you recording and why.
Is there a musical link between the pieces?
Should there be?
Quality control, how?
Per to per evaluation? (anonym?)
There are four “levels”.
1. Record, edit and master your compositions.
2 Make a recording label and register your music.
3. Make cd:s with graphics (may be scaled down in importance).
4. Publishing on the Internet (CDBaby).
Go trough the course plan.
What will it cost?
Recording scenarios for the next two lessons.
What to record?
Lessons may be shorter than two hours.
Individual lessons to be scheduled.
Make a plan for your work.
1. Describe the three productions (interesting for me, clarifying for you and informative for your audience). The description will serve as a base for the text publishing part of the course.
2. Schedule the recordings, finding the musicians, booking the recording space.
(don't do any recordings before the 10/9).
3. Make time for the editing and mastering of the recordings.
4. Set a date when the production (of each composition) WILL BE FINISHED.
If your not doing a recording but using synthesized sounds or samples, you may have a different plan to follow.
The plan has to be delivered next lesson.
